St Clements Cake

 A 5 1/2" 2 layer orange and lemon cake. The bottom layer was coloured with yellow colouring and flavoured using real lemon juice and lemon zest. This was then spread with a generous amount of lemon curd and topped with a layer of orange buttercream. The top layer of sponge was coloured orange and flavoured using an orange extract.

The outside was coated with more orange flavoured buttercream and decorated using fresh slices of oranges and lemons! A delicious refreshing cake for the summer.
